FERDINAND QUAYSON

Founder & Chief College Advisor

Ferdinand Quayson is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment through equitable access to higher education. For over eight years, he has dedicated himself to helping low-income Ghanaian students navigate the complex U.S. college admissions process and secure full scholarships to some of the world’s most prestigious universities.

While still a freshman at Wesleyan University, Ferdinand founded the Young Achievers Foundation Ghana (YAF GHANA), a pioneering leadership and college access program that has since supported over 300 students in gaining admission to top-tier institutions across the United States. YAF Ghana not only equips students with the tools to succeed academically but also connects them to a vibrant community of peers, mentors, and leadership opportunities.

A firm believer in the power of storytelling, Ferdinand introduced the Comprehensive Narrative Strategy, a personalized approach that helps students articulate their lived experiences and aspirations through compelling application essays. This method has been instrumental in setting his students apart in an increasingly competitive admissions landscape.

Now a graduate of Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where he earned a Master in Public Affairs (MPA), Ferdinand continues to offer tailored college consulting services through Quayson College Consult, working closely with a small cohort of students and families. He also leads workshops in high schools on social entrepreneurship and global education access.

Ferdinand holds a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and brings a deep commitment to expanding educational opportunities for underserved youth in Ghana and beyond.
